Google's Democracy Project IG Collaboratory has released an update with an online discussion paper.

The JQuery based software allows the user to read Collboratorie's Publications online as easy as in a printed version.

Am Mittwoch hatte Google in Berlin einen Workshop im Rahmen des Collaboratory veranstaltet zum Thema Urheberrecht.

Dabei sind scheinbar brauchbare Empfehlungen entstanden, die in einem Positionspapier veredelt werden sollen.

Neu ist nicht alles, so erinnert man sich z.b. daran, dass in den USA schon ganz viel Geld damit gemacht wurde, das Urheberrecht zu lockern. Auch die Vermutung, Inhalte frei zu stellen diene der eigenen Karriere ist schon oefter mal am Stammtisch eroertert worden.

Was ich ganz toll finde, sind die schoenen Bilder.

Da kenn ich schon Leute, die sich freuen wuerden, mitzumalen. Vielleicht macht man sowas ja das naechste Mal im Mauerpark?

Wer sich noch fuer das Google - gesponserte I&G Collaboratory

(naechste Initiative) bewerben moechte, sollte das jetzt tun :)

 

Das Collaboratory (siehe Wikipedia, Raum ohne Grenzen, eine Eventmethode) bringt Experten unterschiedlicher Couleur zusammen, die ein Bild entwickeln, wie es weitergehen kann mit Internet und Gesellschaft.

My chromium gets a score of 3306, without hanging a bit, firefox showed
me 7 warnings already, that this script was slowing it down. Also it has
become complete unresponsive, that is all other windows & tabs are
unusable, they are not even refreshed correctly on expose events from X.
Final score from firefox: 159.

Unlike Java or C++ Ruby has come without a large library of namespaced argorithms.

wie heise berichtet, haben knapp 3 prozent der erfassten haushalte in den 20 von google gefilmten deutschen staedten der darstellung im panorama widersprochen.

Sometimes I am using Scroogle .

It is a website, that scrapes Google and provides that service 'without harming your privacy'

 

They seem to hate google in a way. So they have these funny (and well painted :) pictures, you will see.

Das zeigt im wesentlichen, dass Google sowas wie der Hauptkonsument von Wikipedia ist. Scroogles These dazu: Google ist Werbung+Wikipedia.

Schlecht, sollte Wikipedia schlechter werden :)
